The Need To Control The Flesh

This is because the flesh is full of powers of darkness. If you always accept what your flesh says, to do as it wants, to be doing for it whatever it desires, you shall not be growing in spirit.

Son of man, tell every person who does what his flesh wants, that he will gnash his teeth on the last day. The body is always desiring all the things Satan wants. Its needs are those things which Satan has provided and camouflaged with the beauty of the world (mma anya nke uwa).

If you are always giving the body what it wants, you have to remember that one day, this flesh shall be removed from the spirit, taken away from you. It will lay on the ground, as a smelling something, which everybody runs away from. But if yourself is able to control this flesh, son of man, you shall gain a lot in spirit and in heaven.

How To Control The Flesh

How shall you control the flesh?

It is by starting to reject what the flesh likes. As you are rejecting the desires of the flesh, you will discover that the spirit in you will be rising, like a plant germinating from the ground, gradually, gradually and gradually.

The flesh and spirit are like a mother, who gave birth to two babies: a quiet child and another restless child. You know that the restless child keeps on moving about, into every room and space in the house. But the quiet child stays in the same place, observing with its eyes. Even so it is inside a man, between his body and spirit.

The spirit of God comes into a person to stay quiet. But the spirit of Satan will come in, flying all things about, asking for this and that, demanding that you do this and do that. It will not allow you to rest, and it will not allow your spirit to rest. It will be seeking for this and that.

If you continue to give the devilish spirit everything it wants, then know that yourself is moving along the way to hell fire. There is nobody leading you in that broad way. Instead, it is yourself that decides to go along that way.

But when you start to reject the desires of the flesh, you say, “No,” because God does not want such things, that spirit of Satan will start to leave you. As the spirit of God is growing in you, like a plant, the evil spirit will flee away from you, just as darkness vanishes as soon as light comes in. As the spirit of God is growing in you, the spirit of Satan will be leaving you.

By the time the spirit of God has grown up and spread its branches, makes it powers of the Holy Spirit manifest, and takes full position in you, takes full possession of yourself, it is at that time that yourself will know that you have started to live a holy life, the life which God wants. Yourself will know.

What shall be shown to you, what you shall be seeing in spirit, it shall no longer be what was happening before that shall be happening in your life. And the Angels shall confirm it from heaven, that yourself has become one of the Angels.

Why Things Are Getting Worse

It is what everybody is doing now that makes the anger and wrath of God to be very hot, severe. Everybody is striving to fulfil all his needs and solve all his problems, to the neglect of what God wants from him.
